5271590aa Sustainable Planning Act 2009 ADOPTION OF A TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENT OVERRIDING MAROOCHY PLAN 2000 THE NOOSA PLAN 2006 CALOUNDRA CITY PLAN 2004 Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009, Section 117 that on 12 June 2013 the Sunshine Coast Regional Council adopted: TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENT NO.02-2013 (PROTECTED VEGETATION OVERLAY) The temporary local planning instrument will commence on 24 June 2013. Council's vegetation management provisions help protect the region's natural resources, maintain biodiversity and conserve ecological values. The temporary local planning instrument enables Council to prevent unwarranted vegetation damage and ensure that where necessary, vegetation removal occurs in a responsible way. The object of the temporary local planning instrument is to ensure that upon the expiry of Temporary Local Planning Instrument No. 1 (Protected Vegetation Overlay) 2012, operational work for clearing protected vegetation within parts of the local government area is appropriately managed through the 3 planning schemes. The temporary local planning instrument affects the operation of the 3 planning schemes for the local government area by applying the provisions of Part 3 (Protected vegetation overlay) of the temporary local planning instrument to the planning schemes. The temporary local planning instrument will cease to have effect on 24 June 2014. PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE A MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION LOCATED AT LAKE MACDONALD Telstra plans to upgrade an existing telecommunications facility located at 3 Pine Tree Drive West, Lake Macdonald QLD 4563 (Lot 5 on RP214046) 1. Telstra's proposal consists of removing three (3) existing panel antennas and installing three (3) new panel antennas (2.53m long) at a centreline elevation of 22.5m on the existing 20m high concrete monopole. Six (6) Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs) are proposed to be installed on the pole behind the antennas. Any electronic equipment associated with the proposed installation would be housed inside the existing Telstra equipment shelter at the base of the facility. 2.
