65-year-old driver faces court over death

A MAROOCHYDORE woman will face serious charges following investigations into a traffic crash at the intersection of Yandina-Coolum and Valdora Rds on August 4. The incident left a 92- year-old Yaroomba woman dead and three people in their 60s injured.

The 65-year-old woman was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and dangerous operation causing grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on December 14.
