A lot of wags at doggie day
TELL your doggie their big day out is just around the corner.
Organisers of Woofstock, the famous festival for dogs, are gearing up for another successful event at Eumundi on Sunday, September 16.
When Woofstock was launched in Eumundi in October 2010 it was a resounding success and with the support of Animal Shelters, local stall holders, dogs and their owners, this year's Woofstock will be no exception. This year Woofstock will feature a display by the Queensland Police Dogs
The festival provides an avenue for local canines to display their talents among their peers and opportunities for local businesses to showcase their products and services and to an already-converted audience.
"What sets Woofstock apart from other pet events is that it is strictly geared towards dogs and their owners," Mr Dave Daly, director of Woofstock.
Mr Daly said that this year's event will feature a list of talent shows such as "The Voice" Best singing Dog, Doggy Got Talent and Doggy Fashions on the Field. See The Next Top K9 Model. Bring a hat, sit in front of the main stage and be entertained all day by the K9 Stars. Cash, prizes and trophies for best dogs. Thousands attend every year.
Competitions, giveaways, markets, entertainment and fun will be had throughout the day.
