Bidders quiet but four groups interested in Edward St auction
CONSIDERED one of the best villas on the river precinct, 1/28 Edward St, Noosaville, was offered to the market by auction on Saturday, May 12, at the culmination of a six-week auction campaign with Scott Cowley and Dan Neylan of Dowling & Neylan.
Bought off the plan six years ago by Coast investors the three-bedroom quality property has seen good numbers coming through open homes, including some with considerable interest, according to Scott.
Auctioneer Michael Hughes could not entice a satisfactory bid from those gathered at the event and passed in the Noosaville property.
"We do have serious interest with four different groups of people post auction," Scott later revealed.
Located an easy, level stroll to Noosa River and its popular restaurants and cafes the property has been listed for sale at $1.295m.
Scott will open the villa for inspection tomorrow from 10-10.30am and welcomes buyers appreciative of high-quality real estate in this stunning riverside precinct.
No bids on dream home
THE auction of 8 Attenuatta Pl, Noosaville, saw a good roll-of up of onlookers and potential buyers on Saturday, May 12, following promotion with Shane Wickson, of Fiona Winter, Realty.
Gordon Macdonald, of Jason Andrew Auctioneers, introduced the plantation residence as a dream home with wow factor.
Well located in a good neighbourhood with plenty of peace and privacy the property failed to attract bidding.
Gordon passed it in without mentioning a figure.
Shane is continuing discussions with interested parties not in a position to bid under auction conditions and, while the home is not open this weekend, he is happy to arrange inspections by appointment.
New homes in demand
RARELY offered but always in demand: a new Noosaville home in Noosa North Rise Estate will be offered by auction tomorrow following promotion with Karen Bester and Sam Plummer, of Dowling & Neylan.
Built by the developer as an example of the type of residence that complements these blocks, the home has never been lived in.
"Now land banking stages three and four of North Rise Estate the developer is extremely motivated to sell 4 Limosa Cct, Noosaville, by auction as well as the remaining blocks of land within stages one and two by private treaty," Karen revealed.
"We've sold nine blocks of land in the last 10 days after we were asked to virtually fire-sale the first two stages.
"The home we are offering is very appealing with ducted air, solar heating, in-ground pool, quality appliances and the master bedroom is perfectly positioned on the ground floor with the remaining three bedrooms upstairs for accommodation overflow."
Facing due north the residence has attracted quite a lot of interest from Coast and interstate buyers.
Auctioneer Michael Hughes will introduce the home tomorrow, May 19, on site at 3pm.
Calling serious buyers
KRISTY Simi, of Professionals Noosa, describes 30 Callitris Cres as ideal for extended families such as when mum and dad come to live with you or the teenagers won't leave you.
Either way the Marcus Beach home offers dual living within its four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens and three laundries.
"The unique floor plan is ideal for larger families or even student accommodation," Kristy commented of her auction listing.
"I sold one a few doors up the street for $560,000. In fact it has just settled."
Located about 100 metres to direct beach access, 30 Callitris Cres was built about 25 years ago and has since been the subject of three extensions and a modernisation.
There is no doubt this property needs to be sold.
Gordon Macdonald, of Jason Andrew Auctioneers, will be on the lookout for bids from serious buyers tomorrow on site at 4pm.
