Fashionistas' day out at Eumundi Markets evokes passion
THE annual Passion for Fashion day will be held at Eumundi Markets on Saturday, November 10.
It is the ultimate market day for fashionistas and lovers of all things stylish and on trend.
Market manager Peter Homan says Passion for Fashion is a colourful celebration of the latest creations by local designers.
"It's also a chance for market visitors to meet designers face-to-face, find limited-edition pieces, order bespoke treasures, and find themselves the threads they'll need for the Christmas party season ahead," Mr Homan says.
Catwalk parades are a highlight of the day, showcasing the new spring and summer collections from flagship fashion labels at Eumundi Markets.
Parades start at 10am at the Eumundi Amphitheatre.
Labels on show will include Lime Zest, Siren Clothing, Madzara, Boom Shankar, Butterscotch Castle, Betiko, Marmilade, Chuckles & Boo, Momoko and Isabella's Closet.
Also taking to the catwalk will be creations from emerging designers at Sunshine Coast TAFE. They will be showcasing halter neck dresses, shifts and swimwear pieces.
In addition to the parades, visitors can also follow a special Passion for Fashion Trail.
A trail through the market highlights more than 80 stalls with a fashion focus, including men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes, jewellery, hats and other accessories.
