AFTER recently moving to Sydney from Rockhampton, Tahnee Chapman's dream ended before it even began thanks to Paris Hilton.

It was the professional dancer/model's first night podium dancing at the nightclub Marquee at The Star Sydney last Saturday when the incident occurred.

Tahnee, 25, who entered the RALPH Australian Swimsuit Model of the Year contest at Rockhampton's Zodiac Nightclub in February, said she was asked to go up on the podium to hand out glow sticks and dance with three other girls when Paris Hilton joined them, she told The Sunday Telegraph.

However, Tahnee has accused Paris Hilton of getting her the sack after she was dancing too close to the American socialite.

"I wasn't being provocative. My style is described as sultry.

"It involves grinding and moving - I was shaking my bum a bit and my costume had tassels on it," Tahnee said.

"The only reason I danced next to her was because there was no room.

"I was actually looking out for her because her heel kept slipping on the edge."

Tahnee was hired as a dancer by Elite Podium Dancers, which her good friend Clare McCann runs.

Ms Chapman had a week's grace as a tableaux performer.

Ms McCann told The Sunday Telegraph: "Tahnee Chapman was not fired, she was on a trial as a sub-contractor for a promotional model and failed to perform her job description."
