Hurry, don't be late for Alice
AFTER eight months of toil, the input of 150 students, plus staff and parents, countless hours of preparation during holidays, lunch times and after school, Good Shepherd Lutheran College will unveil its production of Alice In Wonderland next week.
About one third of the primary school students will appear in the performance.
The wheels started rolling when the principal players were cast in November and the learning of lines began.
The real work started in term two of this school year when weekly rehearsals began.
Over the last month things have gone into overdrive with the group giving up its holidays to attend practice and going through dress rehearsal for the past few days.
The school will put on four performances, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings as well as a Saturday matinee performance.
Tickets will be available at the door, however, deputy principal Iris Hall stressed it was likely to sell out and urged people to book in advance by calling the school on 5455 8600.
"The students, and the staff, have put in so much hard work," Ms Hall said.
