New store open

WHETHER you prefer the sweet scent of the oriental lily or the stunning elegance of the traditional rose, Beerwah Flowers and Gifts has it all.

For 25 years, Beerwah Flowers and Gifts have provided flowers so beautiful it is hard to believe they are real.

But last week the florist moved from its Turner St store front to bigger and better premises on the corner of Peachester Rd and Turner St.

Store owner Sue Neilen has been working as a florist for 34 years and said she was excited about the move.

"We have got a selection of stock reduced to half price at the new store," Mrs Neilen said.

Beerwah Flowers and Gifts specialise in weddings, and Mrs Neilen said lilies and roses are always popular.

"We have a lot of photographs of work to choose from in store that we have done," she said.

"You can come in and choose a theme or colours and flowers."

The store also has gifts for every occasion and specialises in aged presents.
