Obama campaign calls Romney 'vampire'

The Democratic attacks, led by Joe Biden, the vice-president, campaigning in the swing state of Ohio yesterday, focused not on the size of Mr Romney's $US250 million personal fortune, but on whether he had made his money by exploiting workers.

"Romney made sure the wealthy played by a separate set of rules, he ran massive debts and the middle class lost. And folks, he thinks this experience will help our economy," Mr Biden was due to say to supporters in Ohio.
