HEADLINE writers have had a field day with the, OK, titillating stage show, Busting Out.
"Bosom friends", Keeping abreast....", "...to bust out, "Thanks for the mammaries", "Breast intentions", "Uplifting experience" - you get the picture.
Busting Out comes to Twin Towns this Sunday, the ninth leg of a 40 performance-tour throughout Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
Starring co-writer Bev Killick and Mandi Lodge, two ladies well endowed with, well, the right "props" and talent, Busting Out is an uproarious celebration of those pearls of perfection which half the world's population possess and the other half loves looking at.
The show indulges in crafty word play, tacky jokes, manipulations of the mammaries and a song or two -Cats' Mammaries" is always a big hit - all designed to make women feel empowered about those "wobbly bits".
And most importantly to elicit oodles of belly-laughs from males and females in the audience.
The show grew from dressing room antics into a stand-up comedy routine - The Sound of One Tit Clapping - which was a sell-out at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
"People were liberated and empowered by exposing all that is good and outrageous about breasts," said Ms Killick.
Both women have a long list of stories involving meeting breast cancer survivors, signing breast prosthetics, women who no longer contemplate breast reductions and once hated their large breasts.
"Some of those women hated their large boobs and were ashamed of them but after seeing our show they in fact they're proud of them," Ms Killick said.
Busting Out busts out at 8pm (NSW) on Sunday.
