World car cleaning record washed away in lather of suds
REPCO Noosaville and Girl Guides Australia joined forces on the weekend to attempt a Guinness World Record for Most Cars Washed within an eight hour period.
The store exceeded its goal of 80 cars; managing an impressive 91 on the day.
"It was a tremendous success,'' manager Mark Krause-Richardson said.

"The people from Noosaville and the hinterland were magnificent in their support."
Whether the nation-wide attempt to achieve a Guiness World Record was successful won't be known until all figures are in at the end of the week.
