Surfing status boosted by centre
A NEW national surfing training centre in Casuarina will cement Australia's status as a global leader in the sport.
Surfers from Australia, England, Peru, New Zealand, Tahiti, Chile, South Africa and Bali took to the waves for the 2010 Rusty Gromfest, the most competitive in the event's 13-year history.
