Noosa District Swimming trials age champions Zac Brown, Ben Lavender and Ben Ashman.

Sunshine Beach students Ben Ashman, Ben Lavender and Zac Brown were awarded age swimming champions at the Noosa District Swimming Trials.

The competition between the 11 schools was fierce and the standard of swimming was high.

Four Sunshine Beach students were also runner-up age champions at the carnival, which was held at Noosa Aquatic Centre.

They were Darcy Potter, Ruve Burns, Brock Redwood and Cale Brown. This was a tremendous effort, reflecting the high calibre of swimmers at the school.

Twelve Sunshine Beach swimmers qualified for the regional carnival at the Caloundra Aquatic Centre on March 10.

They are Zac Brown, Loki Haines, Ben Lavender, Thomas Gilder, Matt Cole, Jaspre Outram, Brock Redwood, Ben Ashman, Borore Howton, Darcy Potter, Ruve Burns and Brooke Jeynes.
