Pineapple Cup rivals to face off

The rivalry between Pineapple Hotel Cup foes Noosa and Maroochy- Northshore will be sparked early this year when they go head to head in a pre-season trial this weekend.
The Tigers will host the Roos at Weyba Road on Saturday, just two weeks before the Pineapple Hotel Cup season begins.
Noosa defeated the Roos in consecutive weeks last year – the final round of the regular season and the first week of the finals. Noosa went on to make the grand final but lost to defending premier Palm Beach Currumbin.
