Club members blaze into Bike Week

The Noosa Trailblazers Mountain Bike Club is looking forward to Bike Week 2010.

Running from Saturday, March 13 to Sunday, March 21, Bike Week is seven days of community cycling activities, which are free for the whole family.

The Noosa Trailblazers hold weekly MTB rides, and extend an invitation to those interested to “come and try”.

During Bike Week there will be two Saturday morning rides on Saturday, March 13 and Saturday, March 20.

MTB rides leave at 7am from Cognition, at Noosa Outlook shopping centre, St Andrew’s Drive in Tewantin. Please call 5474 0677 to register your interest.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to find out more about mountain biking, explore local bushland and interact with the members of a great local club.

The Noosa Trailblazers have members from age six up to 80.

Cognition is holding bicycle maintenance classes during Bike Week.

On Saturday, March 13 at 2pm will be a maintenance overview with a focus on understanding how your bike works while Saturday, March 20 will be a hands-on How to Fix a Flat Tyre course, with participants working on their own bicycles.
