One killed in Sunshine Coast crash

A SUNSHINE Coast woman has been killed after an afternoon motorcycle ride with her boyfriend turned to tragedy. She came off the bike near Coolum.

POLICE were this afternoon at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash on the Yandina-Coolum Road on the Sunshine Coast.

The crash happened about 3pm when a 32-year-old woman, believed to be from Eudlo, came off her bike while riding with her boyfriend.

Police and ambulance units rushed to the scene near the Valdora Road intersection.

At this stage, it appears the motorcyclist who was killed was heading towands Yandina when she lost control of the bike rounding a corner.
