Tewantin Early Learning Centre kids coloured their hair for the World’s Greatest Shave.
Today around Noosa, caring individuals and groups will be laying their locks on the line as part of the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
At the Tewantin Early Learning Centre, philanthropic pre- schoolers have been passing up the option to shear off their hair, instead going multi-coloured to help support the victims of leukaemia and their families.
Centre director Debby Kajewski said the crazy hair treatment had been under way since Wednesday, with the kids right into making a bright statement about helping others.
“They’ve had a lot of fun with it and we’ve left it to the parents to bring in a donation – some have given $100 and others $20.”
The World’s Greatest Shave will see a flurry of the hirsute become cranially destitute today.
