Noosa Outriggers were successful at the Fraser Coast Regatta.
Noosa Outriggers continued their tradition of success in the Fraser Coast Regatta on February 27.
Hosted by Hervey Bay, the event made for a great social occasion as well as a well organised regatta.
Results:
Saturday morning’s 14km marathon: master women and golden master women both won gold; senior master men won silver; master men won bronze; senior master women finished just outside the medals.
Saturday afternoon’s 8km marathon: master women and senior master men won gold; master men won silver.
This Saturday Noosa will host its annual Laguna Bay Challenge off Main Beach, with the juniors opening procedures from 6am.
Racing will continue throughout the day, with short and long courses for men and women, as well as mixed events.
The club anticipates a keenly competitive day of racing.
