New netball season ready to roll

Wednesday night netball season two sign-on date is fast approaching.

Wednesday, July 28 is the deadline for teams to nominate for this outdoor evening competition.

This is open to players aged 12 and over, including ladies, and teams will be graded based on ability and skill levels. This season, all teams are required to provide and name an umpire in order to nominate.

The first round of grading games for season two Monday night was held last Monday.

All teams are reminded there are no grading games next Monday, July 26, owing to the state country titles which are being held in Bundaberg this weekend.

Good luck to all teams, coaches, umpires and other officials who will be attending this carnival, which marks the culmination of our rep season for 2010. The trophy presentation for all rep teams will be held on Saturday, August 28, which is also grand final day for the Saturday junior competition.
