THE coalition is launching its campaign for the marginal seat of Dickson in Brisbane on Monday.
Opposition health spokesman Peter Dutton holds the seat by just 0.8 per cent, following an unlucky redistribution.
Shadow treasurer Joe Hockey will join Mr Dutton for the launch at 12.30pm (AEST) near the electoral office on Gympie Road in Strathpine.
Last year Mr Dutton tried to change seats and move to the safe McPherson electorate on the Gold Coast.
Despite the strong backing of former prime minister John Howard and former opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull, he suffered a shock preselection defeat to local favourite Karen Andrews.
