Six Mile Creek covers Louis Bazzo Drive at Pomona as the big wet continues.
RAIN brought havoc to the Noosa region this week.
Campers were moved and roads were flooded as heavy rainfall battered the region on Tuesday and Wednesday, turning the week on its head.
Outdoor Australia Day celebrations were some of the biggest casualties - the council-organised Noosa Local Legends Event had to be moved from Noosaville Lions Park to Noosa Leisure Centre.
The local SES crews were kept on their toes as well, being called out multiple times over both days.
Local controller Stan Ryan said most of the jobs were for leaky roofs and requests for sandbags.
"There was no particular area the calls were coming from. We were split between Noosaville, Tewantin and Cooroy," Mr Ryan said.
"Things quietened down for us on Wednesday."
Energex reported no major power outages for Noosa.
"Noosa was pretty lucky," a spokesman said.
"If the winds had picked up, it could have brought down a few branches and some powerlines with them."
Several roads around the region were closed due to water over the road including Louis Bazzo Dr at Ringtail Creek, Subway Ave at Pomona, Grays Rd at Doonan, and North Arm-Yandina Creek Rd and Toolborough Rd, both in Yandina Creek.
The Lake Macdonald dam was also spilling, according to Seqwater.
The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) directed campers around the upper Noosa River in the Cooloola section of Great Sandy National Park to leave on Wednesday.
QPWS operations manager Great Sandy, Peter Wright, said QPWS had closed Harrys Hut Rd, put up signs at canoe launch areas downstream, and informed commercial operators the upper river was closed until further notice.
"We've also closed The Cooloola Great Walk, Cooloola Wilderness Trail, walking tracks adjacent to the upper Noosa River and Kin Kin Creek catchments including Mill Point, Boronia Trail and Cooloola Sandpatch tracks, and the Kinaba Information Centre and Fig Tree Point," Mr Wright said.
"Camping bookings for the upper Noosa River are closed."
Campers who were booked in from Wednesday until January 31 were being informed and would have their camping fees refunded.
The forecast is for rain and possible storms for today through to Sunday, with showers from Monday to at least Wednesday.
