5 year-old shot, parents refuse to help police
A FIVE-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being shot in a home in Sydney's south west last night.
Police said they were called to a home on Morison Dr, Lurnea about 9pm after reports a five-year-old boy had suffered a gunshot wound to the hip.

The boy was taken to Liverpool Hospital by his parents - where he remains in a stable condition.
Police this morning said the family car is being forensically exmained as a matter of procedure.
A crime scene has been established at the home as detectives carry out their investigation.

Police said the motive for the shooting was not yet clear.
