Five UQ students diagnosed with measles
FIVE University of Queensland students have been diagnosed with measles, Queensland Health confirmed yesterday.
Health officials have set up a vaccination clinic at the St Lucia campus.
Queensland Health Communicable Diseases Unit senior medical officer Dr Heidi Carroll encouraged all students living on campus to attend the clinic if they were unsure of their vaccination status.
Officials warned one of the students was contagious at locations across Brisbane, including the Indooroopilly and Carindale shopping centres, two restaurants, and a number of bars between Wednesday, August 12 and Sunday, August 16.
