Year 12 student Kelsie, who will play Dorothy, said she was living her dream acting in The Wiz and studying at the school's Performing Arts Department.

"I am so excited and spend almost every waking minute singing songs from the show, which drives my brother crazy and makes my mum cry," she joked.

"In 2008 I saw Nambour State High School's production of Peter Pan, and I immediately knew that I wanted to attend Nambour High."
