Animal refuge seeks homes for longest residents
SUNSHINE Coast Animal Refuge is in desperate need of homes for four of its longest residents.
The canine crew has been with the refuge for a combined three-and-a-half years through no fault of their own.
SCARS manager Penny Brischke said having spent many days at SCARS, they will need a little extra patience to allow them to readjust back into the everyday world.
"We have the trees, grass, food and shelter for them and they get lots of extra cuddles and walks from our staff and volunteers, but nothing is the same as being a part of a family," Ms Brischke said.
Visit SCARS at 28 Sippy Creek Rd, Tanawha, or phone 54945275.
