Meet the top Bachelor on the Sunshine Coast right now

YOU can rest assured Zac Anderson means it when he says he is "humbled" to be named one of Australia's top 30 bachelors.

His trash-talking teammates would not have it any other way.

The Sunshine Coast-raised professional football player copped a barrage of banter when his fellow Central Coast Mariners learned he was a Cleo magazine's Bachelor of the Year finalist.

"I was keeping it pretty hush-hush but as soon as it came out (yesterday) I was copping it," the 23-year-old said.

"The phone was buzzing straight away and I'm sure there's a bit more banter to come."

The former Maroochydore and Caloundra junior has become a key member at the Gosford-based A-League club and is impressing off the field, where he is completing a law degree.

He is the only A-League player on this year's list, but the AFL is represented by Sydney Swans' Tom Derickx and Port Adelaide's Hamish Hartlett.
