FOR 80-year-old Michael Roch, his Trike Bike was his independence, but now it has been taken from him.

The Mount Coolum resident's three-wheeler bike was stolen on Sunday night.

"As I am 80 years old and have difficulty walking the trike at least gave me some mobility," he said.

Desperate to get it back, Mr Roch is calling on anyone who may have seen a silver three-wheeler, or who might know anything about its theft of whereabouts, to contact him - no questions asked.

The trike has one front and two rear wheels and baskets on the front and back.

If you have any information phone Mr Roch on 0408 737 170.
