Bold robber fills up then cleans out the till

BREAKING: A manhunt is on for a service station customer who robbed an attendant after filling up with fuel.

Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch acting officer-in-charge Graeme Farlow said a man aged in his early 20s filled a blue Holden Commodore with fuel at Coles Express in Tewantin about 11.45am Monday.

Detective Sergeant Farlow said the unarmed man then went inside the store and threatened the console operator, demanding money.

The console operator complied and the man left with a sum of cash.

No one was injured.

The man was last seen driving the Commodore onto Ponciana Ave.

He was described as being about 173cm tall with "blondish" hair and of a slim build.

The Commodore was described as being about 2007 year model.

CCTV of the incident is being reviewed by Noosa detectives.
