Boy dies in quad bike crash

A BOY has died after a quad bike crash at Boodua (north of Toowoomba) this morning.

The crash occurred on private property just after 9am and the boy died at the scene.

Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police would also like to remind members of the public of the dangers of motorbikes and quad-bikes on private property.

Regional Traffic Coordinator, Inspector Bruce Dimond said helmets and all safety equipment should be worn at all times on any motorised vehicles.

"Riders need to be aware of the risks involved and take every precaution possible to prevent accidents from happening."
