Brady takes all-time win record

AMERICAN FOOTBALL: New England Patriots star Tom Brady has become the most successful quarterback in NFL history.

The two-time MVP and four-time Super Bowl had been level with old rival Peyton Manning's previous mark of 200 wins but took the record on his own when he led his team to a 26-10 success over the Los Angeles Rams.

His 201 victories include both regular-season and playoff victories.

The win pushed New England to its 14th straight season with at least 10 victories, a streak that dates back to Brady's third season as a starter.

Since becoming the Patriots' starter in 2001, Brady has 201 wins in 264 career games - it took Manning 293 games to reach 200 wins.

"You know, I'm just grateful for all my teammates and my coaches, and my family and friends,” Brady said afterwards.

"It's been a lot of football over the years, so... It's always been about winning and you know, I've been very fortunate to be on great teams. I'm actually very grateful.”
