EARLIER: FOUR people are lucky to be alive after a crash forced a major Roma road to close this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Northern Road and William St, near Apex Park. The same place where Michael Macdonald died in 2014.

Fortunately no patients had to be transported to hospital, according to a Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman.

The north bound lane of Northern Road was closed at the time Western Star filed this report.

More to come.
