Man taken to hospital with fractures after roof fall

UPDATE: A man who fell off his roof onto concrete at Forest Glen is conscious.

An Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the 67-year-old man had been transported to Nambour General Hospital with "multiple fractures".

"He was conscious when transported," the spokesman said.

Injuries included a wrist fracture, broken femur and a suspected head injury.

EARLIER: AMBULANCE crews have rushed to a Forest Glen address where a 67-year-old man is believed to have fallen off a roof onto concrete.

The incident happened only minutes ago and details are still surfacing as to the man's condition.

It is believed he is unconscious.
