Police officers pull motorists over for random breath testing.

Cannabis in driver’s system two days later

A ROCKHAMPTON man was caught drug-driving two days after using illicit drugs.

Brett Victor King pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on July 20 to the offence.

The court heard that King recorded positives for both cannabis and methamphetamine after police tested him on Upper Dawson Rd on April 5.

He told police he used drugs two days prior.

King was fined $500 and disqualified from driving for two months.
