Chelsea Ingram stars in New York comedic web series

New York websiers The Loft follows a motley crew of struggling young creatives whose lives intersect in the illegal Dumbo loft apartment they share.

Ingram plays Jane Gallagher, a lesbian fashion blogger from Australia who has been freshly dumped by her girlfriend for a more famous husband.

She is the self-absorbed roommate who won't stop talking about her multitudinous first world problems - each more melodramatic than the last. We caught up with Ingram recently about working with Yunus. 'Yunus is fantastic. The script it hilarious, what more could I really ask for?'

The series explodes with Ingram's phenomenal comedic ability and openness to the scripts surreal settings. With Chelsea's undoubtedly natural talent and truthful portrayal of such an edgy, dynamic and raw character, the screen is brought to life with her performance alone.

Yunus Shahul won accolades for his comedy Future Assassin, including Best Short Film and Best Director at the 2013 Cannes World Cinema Initiative. In 2014 he directed Denial, winning the Gold and Platinum awards at the International Movie Awards, and Unrequited Love, which received two nominations at the Action on International Film Festival.

"I am a storyteller that wishes to bring life to my story and the characters involved. The only way I can do so is through film. Movies breathe life to my stories visually and emotionally." - Yunus Shahul.

The Loft's creative director and supporting actress, Natalie Faye has developed and starred in films that have screened at the Singapore International Film Festival, Love & Pride Festival, Singapore Short Film Festival, and The Substation First Take series.

Natalie is a Harvard University graduate and founder of production company Lickety Split. She has developed numerous projects shot throughout New York City and has recently cast Ingram in upcoming web series 'The Caterpillar' set to shoot in late 2018.

Ingram also recently wrapped shooting on feature film Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon directed by Luke Shirock as lead love interest. The film will hit cinemas world-wide later this year.
