IT'S always great to enjoy the New Year's Eve fireworks at Mooloolaba - unless you don't like huge crowds, and also want to enjoy an alcoholic drink.

So why not get the best of both worlds?

Club Mooloolaba bowls club is opening its doors to everyone for a great night of food, drink and entertainment.

The club's bistro restaurant is open from 5.30pm with a big menu choice, and top five-piece Coast band The Claptomaniacs will be playing right through to 1am.

And here's the thing: you can enjoy a perfect view of the fireworks from the club, and still have access to the well-stocked bar.

Entry is free, as is the entertainment.

Bookings for tables are well-advised as it will be a busy evening. Call 5444 1387 to make one.
