It's a wee bit nippy but the water was swell this morning
THE cold weather that saw temperatures fall 2.8 degrees below average to 10.1 degrees on Wednesday night is expected to continue into the weekend.
Weather Bureau forecaster Dean Narramore said a very large high pressure system over Tasmania was bringing cooler days and nights to Queensland.
This morning brought with it some sweet surf conditions with the swell at a conservative four foot at North Shore Mudjimba this morning.
It's still offshore at Point Cartright where our photographer is off to grab some snaps.
Noosa is also likely to be pick of the afternoon surf.
