A MARYBOROUGH woman has described in detail the day her young daughter revealed to her that her father had been raping her.

She said when she found out she was horrified.

The father, who cannot be named in order to protect his daughter's identity, has pleaded not guilty in the Brisbane District Court to allegedly raping his daughter on four separate occasions between March and December, 2012.

The mother told the court on Wednesday her daughter made the allegations one morning in November, 2012, when they were visiting her grandparents who lived in Hervey Bay.

She said she had been in a de-facto relationship with the man and they have six children together.

"She told me she did not want to go home," the mother said.

The mother said she asked her daughter why and she described in detail how the man had made her perform a sex act on him.

"She then said that when I (the mother) will not do it, daddy makes me do it instead," the mother told the court.

Earlier, defence barrister Peter Richards told the court both parties had agreed on several facts to ensure the trial continued in a timely manner.

"The daughter said the things that form the basis of this trial only happened over a two-day period," he said.

"The daughter has been removed from the care of her parents.

"The daughter has not had any contact with her father since that occurred."

The trial before Judge Brad Farr continues.
