Australia A captain determined to finish tour on high

AUSTRALIA  A captain Moises Henriques is determined to finish the 'A' tour on a high, after admitting minor injury troubles hampered his performances in Brisbane and Darwin.

The Aussies have played games against India A, South Africa A and the National Performance Squad so far, with a four-day game against the South Africans in Townsville beginning today.

Henriques mostly watched on as fellow all-rounders Mitch Marsh, James Faulkner and Ben Cutting played strongly, preceding their selections in the top one-day squad for the tour of Zimbabwe.

With Faulkner's call-up to the ODI squad, Henriques has been handed the responsibility of captaining the 'A' side for the remaining two matches.

The home side accounted for South Africa A comfortably in their two clashes in the one-day series, but Henriques was not anticipating a walk in the park this time.

"I think they'll come hard, they've got a couple of big quicks that can bowl quite lively," he added.
