Dinosaurs sparking a collector craze

THE dinosaur might have crossed the road because he was chasing the chicken, but dinosaur enthusiasts across town are chasing something much more exciting.

There are 40 unique dinosaur cards to hunt down in our collector card series, which is shaping up to be bigger than T-Rex himself.

To take part, all you have to do is redeem a token from this newspaper, follow the big footprints into a participating newsagent and exchange it for a set of two cards.

But the fun doesn't end there.

Jump on to our website to enter a prehistoric world where you can play games, read up on some fun dinosaur facts, check out the cards and enter our second-chance draw to win a dinosaur pack worth almost $100.

And as if that's not enough, the week starting June 2 will be Dino Week, and to celebrate, we will launch a tricky online quiz.

If you think you know everything there is to know about dinosaurs hop online to register and be crowned your town's honorary dinosaur expert.

To keep an eye on how your collection is going, make sure you pick up a copy of Saturday's paper which will feature a massive double-page poster of the cards.

The series runs until June 21.

Happy collecting!
