Robbery suspect still on the run after hold up

UPDATE 6AM: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a service station in Tivoli yesterday afternoon.

Initial information suggests around 3.10pm a man entered the business on Mount Crosby Rd armed with a knife and demanded money from the console operator.

The staff member complied and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police, the dog squad and POLAIR 2 conducted a search of the surrounding area however were unable to locate the man.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance and was wearing a full face mask with a skull design, a red cap and a black button up shirt with cream trousers.

EARLIER: The dog squad is hunting a man in Tivoli after an armed hold-up this afternoon.

About 3.15pm a man armed with a knife entered the BP service station on Mount Crosby Rd and threatened the staff.

Police confirmed he got away with cash and took off on foot.

Pol air was being used to track him and officers are now pursuing him on foot.
