Double fatality in two-car crash

Two women have been killed following a two-car crash west of Toowoomba.

The fatal crash happened at St George yesterday on Buckinbah Rd about 5.15pm.

Initial investigations indicate a car carrying three people was travelling west on the road when it collided with a four-wheel drive travelling east.

A 25-year-old woman and 27-year-old woman, both from Taiwan, who were passengers in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the car and the male driver of the four-wheel drive were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
