Dramatic landing at Brisbane airfield

THREE people have escaped unharmed after a light aircraft made an emergency landing at Archerfield Airport.

Emergency crews were called to the airport after they received notification that the front wheel of the plane was not extending.

The aircraft veered slightly off the runway as its nose slammed to the ground when it landed about 4.30pm.

Paramedics have since assessed all three people on board and they have declined further treatment.

An investigation is under way.
