Elderly man rushed to hospital after motorbike crash

An elderly man has been taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a car and motorcycle crash in Noosa on Monday afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, in his 70s, was riding the motorcycle which was involved in a crash with a car on Rene St at 1.23pm.

The man suffered head and significant lower limb injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
