Fate of the Great Barrier Reef hangs in balance

The Great Barrier Reef.
The Great Barrier Reef. Tourism Australia

I HAVE to admit to being undecided on job creation and the necessary power supply coal can give us.

Or what could be the real fallout for our beautiful landscape and Great Barrier Reef and its future?

It can never be put back to how it was.

What will be the end result of this latest saviour for Queensland as like our drinking water now becomes contaminated with the AFFF used by our defence forces unwittingly used to quell fires and failed in their duty to warn the public after results showed its bad side.

The cane toad was going to be the saviour of the Queensland sugar cane industry now spreading its ugly tentacles killing our unique wildlife over all Australia.

Coal and its remains leave behind a disease called Black Lung.

Asbestos was another saviour in its time but the end results show.

Wrong again.

Let us not forget.
