Funding for vaccine completion

ALL states and territories will share in $8 million in extra funding after completing a successful national vaccination program on several diseases.

A report from the Council of Australian Governments to be released on Tuesday will show immunisation programs for measles, mumps, rubella and polio have been a success.

Operating under a national partnership, the program means state and territory governments will get access to an $8 million incentive fund for reaching its targets.
