
Search for missing Gatton teen enters fifth day
THE search for missing Gatton girl Jayde Kendall, 16, is continuing.
She has not been seen or heard from since 3.20pm on Friday.
Laidley Child Protection and Investigation Unit Detective Sergeant Bronagh Gillespie said Jayde's family had been in regular contact with police waiting for news or information about her whereabouts.
"Obviously they are stressed and upset and concerned about her," Det. Sgt Gillespie said.
"We are concerned for her welfare.
"We've had a really good public response, and any continued pieces of information we just encourage people to report it through Crime Stoppers.
"Any information can help and obviously if Jayde is out there, please let us know where she is and let us know that she is safe."
Det. Sgt Gillespie confirmed Jayde was last seen getting into a red car outside the Lockyer District High School about 3.20pm Friday.
Jayde is described as Caucasian, 155cm tall with brown hair, green eyes and a proportionate build.
