Harrison Craig touches hearts with his Voice win

HARRISON Craig has been crowned the 2013 winner of The Voice Australia.

The Melbourne teen, who turned to music from an early age to overcome his stutter, led his coach Seal to a second straight victory on the singing competition.

"Australia knows the struggles I've had with my own voice," Craig said.

"Thank you to everyone, my family in particular."

Seal was full of praise for the 18-year-old, whom he had to fight "tooth and nail" for to get on his team.

Craig was responsible for three of the show's four iTunes chart-topping hits this year.

"I think you all made us fight harder collectively," Seal said.

"You sang for a lot of people without voices.

"I do believe you are destined for great things, for global things."

Tonight's two-hour grand final saw Luke Kennedy come second, Celia Pavey in third and Danny Ross in fourth place.

The four finalists opened the show by singing John Farnham's The Voice, complete with live bagpipes and backed by their fellow Top 16 team mates.

Robin Thicke and One Republic both performed, and coaches Delta Goodrem and Ricky Martin also both performed their new singles, Heart Hypnotic and Come With Me.

Craig's single Unconditional is available online now and his album More Than A Dream will be released on June 25.
