3. GINGER FACTORY

MEET face-to-face with some of Ginger Boy's favourite animals. If you visit the old train shed from Monday to Friday during the school holidays, between 10am to 1pm, you will be able to meet some of the wildlife and their zookeepers that will be visiting from Wildlife HQ, including sulphur-crested cockatoo Chatterbox Charlie and red-tailed black cockatoo Hector. There's also a petting display where you can meet baby chickens and guinea pigs.

4. ARTSCOOL WORKSHOP

When: Tomorrow, 10.30am-noon

Where: Caloundra Regional Gallery

Age: 5-8

Cost: $12

CREATE a mini head and shoulder sculpture from air-drying clay using pinch-pot and coiling techniques in the Expressive Clay Heads workshop. Use your imagination to make it as quirky or expressive as you like. Add a mixed-media funky hairdo and you'll have yourself a real showpiece.

5. ARTSCOOL

Where: Caloundra Regional Gallery

CREATE a cool mini 3D habitat from mixed-materials and textures in the Mini 3D Habitats workshop. It could be a forest, wetland, beach or fantasy garden. If you came along to the amazing animal workshop, you can create the perfect setting for your animal to live in, or make it to suit your own figurines.

6. CRAFT VILLAGE

Where: Noosa Civic, opposite Ella Bache

When: tomorrow to Friday, 10am until 2pm

Cost: Free

KIDS can get creative in the free craft village with workshops held daily.

7. MEET, MAKE, CREATE

Where: Sunshine Plaza, Riverwalk Stage

When: This Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-2pm

MEET, Make, Create is joining Sunshine Plaza for five days of free art and craft workshops. The activities are sure to inspire the kids to tap into their inner-artist and unleash their creativity.

8. HERITAGE

TRAMWAY EVENT

When: Wednesday, 2-3pm

Where: Maroochydore Library

JOIN Helene Cronin, from Buderim-Palmwoods Heritage Tramway Inc, for a screening of the Nambour-Mapleton Tramway film and Buderim-Palmwoods Tramway film. Bookings are essential via council's library website as afternoon tea will be provided.

9. OCEAN RANGER PROGRAM

Where: SEA LIFE Mooloolaba

When: Next Wednesday and Friday

Cost: Full-day ($75) or half-day ($50) per child

KIDS will love the Ocean Ranger Program where they can feed, touch and meet some of SEA LIFE Mooloolaba's amazing marine creatures with behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, animal feeding and lunch included in full or half-day programs.

10. SLEEP UNDER
