Hunt for the Wilderpeople brilliant on all levels
THIS is a film on the big screen that's been around a few weeks now but deserves to be there a few more.
If you haven't seen it yet, go quickly as it is one "magistical" film worth seeing.
Ricky (Dennison) is a foster kid with a reputation for being bad. He is taken in by a childless couple living in the heart of the New Zealand bush.
Ricky's life turns to chaos when his foster mum Bella dies and it is up to the sullen Uncle Hector (Neill) to hand him back to child protection. But when Ricky runs off into the wild, Hector has to run with him as he is mistakenly accused of kidnapping Ricky.
This is brilliant movie- making on every level.
The cinematography is wonderful, the acting is superb and the plot is full of delightful twists.
It's pure enjoyment and a movie you won't forget for some time.
