Paparazzi get the best of Justin Bieber

CANADIAN king-of-pop Justin Bieber was forced to defend himself on Twitter after an altercation with photographers who he said "got the best of him".

On Friday morning in the UK, after rushing from his London hotel into a waiting van, Bieber responded to provocation from photographers - lunging through his entourage at the press.

He was held back by bouncers while threatening to beat up the paparazzi.

The pop singer told his Twitter fans it was a "rough week".

"Not gonna let them get the best of me again. Gonna get focused on this show tonight. Adrenaline is high now. Gonna put it on the stage."
